NewsPage 1 2 Jul 11, 2010, 10:54 pm Chris Brenner set another team record yesterday at Smoky Hill. He swam a 38.37 in the 11-12 boys 50 meter backstroke. Converted to yards, that's 34.57, a new record - congrats to Chris! Also at Smoky Hill, in the 15-18 boys 200 meter free relay event, our Whalers Sam Chen, Frank Brennan, Chris Brenner and Sean Kuster won the event with a 1:55.56, in a thrilling finish. That time converts to 1:44.11 in yards, just beating the old record set in June of 2008. That's with a 12-year-old, two 15-year-olds and a 17-year-old on the team! He broke his own record in the 15-18 200 free today at the meet with Holly Park. Sean swam a 1:56.94, beating his old time by well over two seconds. Jun 5, 2010, 10:30 pm Chris Brenner broke his own team record from last year in the 11-12 50 yard breaststroke today at Dam West. Chris swam a 38.19, blowing away his record from last July of 40.53 by over two seconds! Way to go Chris!
